AWAKENING

When you drive through the towns and cities of Europe you may not get the impression that Europe is a big mission field. You will see many big churches and, in the case of Catholic countries, statues of Jesus, Mary, saints and crosses as well. However, the big cathedrals are just a sad reminder of things of the past. The last 100 years there has been a big decline when it comes to Christian faith in Europe.

In some countries the religion has a stronger grip than in others, but to most people it's still just a religion. In countries like Poland, where 58% say that they attend mass at least once a week, 83% acknowledge that they have never experienced the presence of Christ in their lives.

Most countries in Europe have less than 1% Christians and 11 countries have below 0.5%. This makes Europe the biggest mission field today. However, God is not finished with Europe and we believe there is a great awakening on the verge of happening right now - and you can be a part of it.

Our dream is to see a new generation of Christians in Europe, equipped to bring the Kingdom of God wherever they go. If you want to get involved, there are several ways you can do it.
 

• You can start to pray regularly for the European countries.

• You can support ministries that are doing mission work in Europe.

• You can set aside some months and join us here at the base in Poland.
