During easter we had a team visiting from a pentecostal church in Norway (Filadelfia Lyngdal) and it was awesome. It was not a big team, but they gave everything when they where here and the church they visited was very blessed.
One of the things we as Nations Calling want to do is to bless the local Churches. So when we have teams coming we try to connect them with local churches so that those who get saved get connected with a local fellowship.
The team had a really serving attitude and during their stay they served in many different ways. Together with some of the musicians from the church they helped with worship, had evangelistic meetings, visited schools and institutions for youth with troubled background.
Before the team left we had a gathering with some of the people from the church. Here several shared how the days had blessed them spiritually. One had for the first time experienced praying with someone for healing, and others had been blessed just being together with them.
One of the school classes the team visited was so happy with their visit that they, as a class, invited the team to go bowling, just to hang out with them.
Usually we have an idea that young people are better at reaching young people, but when God has an agenda He often likes to choose the unlikely. This was the case in the last meeting the team had. Even though the team was a very young team (in age) they prayed for an elderly man for salvation. I think this was just one of those beautiful examples of how God can use who He wants to reach who He wants.
