February has been a very exciting month here at the mission base in Poland, and in many ways it feels like it's the start of a new period for the work. The reason is that this month there have come two new workers and one of them is actually a Polish lady; the two new workers are Elin Maria Christiansen and Aśka Dąbrowska.
Besides the fact that we have had two new workers, it has also been a very evangelistic month. Because the schools in Poland have their winter break in February, together with the young people from the Charisma church we have been very active evangelizing in the streets almost every day.

At the same time as part of the Nations Calling team was active on the streets of Lublin, together with the Charisma church, Ronald and the family were on a trip to Denmark and Norway. At first it seemed to be a very hectic period to go abroad, but at the same time it was the only possibility because of a school break.
However, as Ronald and the family went away, Michael stayed in Lublin, taking care of the base and welcoming Elin Maria. She arrived on the 6th of February and got a really "boom" start on her stay in Lublin. Almost from the first day there was evangelism, youth meetings, prayer meetings and fellowship with the young people in the church. She will write more about this in another blog post.
Generosity from strangers
Here in Poland they have something called "Fat Thursday"; a day where many people eat Polish donuts. Therefore some of the young people went out on the streets to give donuts to the homeless. As they were there, a man approached them and asked what they where doing. They told him that they were sharing God's love with people and giving out donuts to the homeless. The man got so impressed that he gave them 100 zlotys (almost 200 kroners) so the next day they bought soup for the homeless for 100 zlotys.
Besides giving out food to the homeless, they were also out on the street praying for people and sharing the Gospel. Michael, Aśka and Alina talked with three girls who got very moved by what they heard and Michael also gave some words of knowledge. Two of them started to cry there in the street and after some time they prayed for salvation for all three of them. This was not something they did just because of people telling them to do it, but they themselves said that they really wanted salvation because they could sense that this was real.

Since Ronald, Kasia and the children were in Norway/Denmark, Michael invited the whole youth group from Charisma to have their meeting at our house/base.
In January Kurt Pedersen from Denmark also visited us and was a big blessing the time he was here. He joined the weekly activities and even though he is not so young in age, he is very young in spirit.
In the picture to the left he is making sandwiches to give to poor people in the city. He and Michael filled up a big bag of sandwiches and blessed some poor people with a free meal and prayer.
